What is it

Cloud Datastore is a fully managed, serverless NoSQL database.

Why hold it

The initial MVP of Einride's platform services used Cloud Datastore as the operational database, as part of the integrated App Engine stack.

We experienced some schema migration issues with Cloud Datastore, which prompted an evaluation of and subsequent migration to Cloud Spanner.
