What is it

Cloud Armor is a fully managed GCP product that allows to set security policies on incoming traffic. This enables access control to Google Cloud Platform resources at the network's edge.

When to use it

Use Cloud Armor to regulate traffic that goes via the public web. It allows for traffic filtering based on content and ip, as well as rate limiting.
