What is it

GCP Monoprojects is a name for the practice of hosting many separate application in the same GCP project.

Why hold it

In line with our principle of taking ownership, we want teams to be able to own the applications they develop end-to-end. This includes ownership of the cloud resources, and their provisioning.

We prefer to architecture around app-specific projects, owned entirely by the team that owns and develops the app itself.
